The book addresses, in five chapters, the value system in the Egyptian society. The first chapter reviews: meaning, concept and types of values in addition to their sources and significance.

The second introduced values development in the Egyptian society, their roots and historical influencing factors of its constitution. The third chapter focused on deterioration causations of the value system in the internal environment during the last half of the century, and impact of regional and international environment changes. A strategy including conceptualizations for replacing the current value system with another positive, motivating and driving towards progress one.
